Utilizing the framework of the international Law of the Sea Convention, this course covers United States law regarding renewable and non-renewable ocean energy resources, fisheries, marine mammal and marine endangered species protection, marine pollution, and marine protected areas including marine reserves. OSU graduate students participating in the course via video conference add an interdisciplinary dimension.

Exam - 2 hr. - Computer required
Essay exam is partial open book.
