Examines the law governing privately held pools of money, such as venture capital funds and hedge funds. Students will gain an understanding of how these entities are financed and structured, an important complement to attorneys representing start-up businesses as well as transactional attorneys who might encounter venture capital and hedge funds in other areas of their practices.
