Advanced course focusing on transactions in stocks, bonds, and other securities under the Uniform Commercial Code and other bodies of law. Topics include the two major U.S. systems for owning stock (directly and through intermediaries), the use of securities as collateral for secured loans; repurchase agreements and other derivatives; and the Hague Securities Convention.
