Credence Elizabeth Sol is Director of Communications at the University of Oregon School of Law. Prior to attending law school, she was a journalist and public relations professional in Chicago, and was a staffer at the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois. While attending the University of Oregon School of Law, she served on the Oregon Law Review and published three law review articles in other journals. After graduating (Coif) in 1998, Credence clerked for Judge Jack Landau and (now-Chief) Judge David Brewer of the Oregon Court of Appeals, and for Judge Robert Beezer of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Credence began her career in private practice at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP in Los Angeles, where her litigation practice focused on mass torts. Later on, she was associated with Liner Yankelevitz Sunshine & Regenstreif LLP, where she practiced in the areas of intellectual property and general business litigation. In 2006, she founded the Sol Law Firm, where she continued to engage in civil litigation in the state and federal courts, as well as the major arbitral tribunals.

Following her relocation to Oregon in 2007, Credence remains the principal of the Sol Law Firm. She lives in Eugene with her husband and three sons.
