Melinda W. Grier has served as UO general counsel since 1998. Before that, she worked as director of legal services and compliance for the Oregon University System. Grier is 2nd Vice President of the National Association of College and University Attorneys and has served on the board of directors and as a reporter and cochair of the Student Affairs Section. Grier has taught at the University of Oregon School of Law since 1992.
