Kimberly Pray
As the assistant director of the Green Business Initiative, Pray works to develop programs to promote research and scholarship, coordinate interdisciplinary projects, administer student externships, and implement the vision and goals of the overall Portland Program. Pray received her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2008 and went on to earn an LL.M. from the University of Washington Graduate Program in Taxation in 2009. During law school, she served as a law clerk at Foster Pepper PLLC in Spokane, Washington, where she worked primarily with the litigation and intellectual property practice groups. She also served as the Notes/Comments Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review, was a member of the Moot Court Honors Council, and received the National Second Place Brief Award at the 2008 Saul Lefkowitz National Trademark Moot Court Competition. While living in Spokane, she served on the City of Spokane Bicycle Advisory Board. Prior to law school, Pray served as director of development for Ecotrust, where she managed and coordinated grant proposal development and funding requests, cultivated individual donors, and maintained donor relations. Previously, she served as the first executive director of the Columbia Gorge Ecology Center, based in Hood River, Oregon. She received her B.S. in Environmental Science in 1997 from Brown University. |
