On August 14, 2007, the Cascade Fire Complex (158,638 acres) burned out of control in Central Idaho and made a run at the Incident Command Post (ICP), entrapping nearly 200 fire workers. The fire sprayed burning embers over the camp, ignited 100 spot fires, burned tents, and melted temporary facilities. Beyond smoke inhalation, no one was seriously injured.
