Eric Priest
Professor Priest is an expert in the areas of intellectual property law, Chinese intellectual property, and the Chinese entertainment industry. Professor Priest received is law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2002, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Chicago-Kent Law Review, and his LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 2005. While at Harvard, Priest worked as a research fellow for the Berkman Center for Internet & Society where he researched and analyzed Internet censorship and surveillance practices in several Asian countries for the center's OpenNet Initiative. Professor Priest's research interests include intellectual property law; international intellectual property law; digital copyright law; the impact of the Internet and emerging technologies and business models on innovation, economics, and the law; and the development of intellectual property laws and norms in China and other emerging nations. |
