The "Back to School 2007" issue of Prelaw Magazine, a nationally-distributed publication
aimed at prospective law students, has recognized the University of Oregon School
of Law as one of the "best value" law schools in the country. The magazine touted
the schools on the "best-value" list as those that deliver "results at an affordable
price," using the criteria of tuition prices, high bar passage rates, and high
post-graduation employment rates. The University of Oregon School of Law was
the highest-ranked Oregon law school on this year's list. In addition to recognizing
the School of Law's overall value, the magazine also included Oregon's environmental,
public interest, and criminal law programs in separate articles highlighting the
top schools in those areas.
