Black Panther Party Members, San Francisco 8's Arrest and Interrogation the Topic of a Film Screening and Discussion March 5

The film, “Legacy of Torture,” documenting the 1973 arrest and interrogation of eight Black Panther party members related to the 1971 killing of a San Francisco police officer, will be screened and discussed on Wednesday, March 5, at the Knight Law Center, room 175, 1515 Agate Street in Eugene at 6:30 p.m.

Hank Jones, one of the San Francisco 8, Claude Jones, filmmaker, and Mayisha Quint of the Bay Area Committee to Free the San Francisco 8 will speak following the film. 

The event is sponsored by the National Lawyers Guild, University of Oregon Multicultural Center and Civil Liberties Defense Center.
