The Law and Entrepreneurship Student Association (LESA) is proud to present this year's

Law of Wine

Find out what it takes to start your own vineyard, how the law is implicated in producing and selling wine, how to work as an attorney in the Oregon wine industry, and how to simply enjoy everything the wine industry has to offer!

April 19, 2007
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Lewis Lounge - 4th floor of the law school

Hors d'oeuvres, wine and refreshments will be served.

Speakers discuss business and legal aspects of the wine industry. Specifically, how the wine industry must deal with shipping reciprocity laws between states, growing regions as indicating sources of wine, and labeling requirements. Similarly, the speakers will be reminding students about the spirit of producing, selling, and marketing wine in Oregon. After the speakers have finished, there will be a question and answer forum followed by a less formal time where attendees will have the opportunity to engage the speakers individually and in small groups.

Please RSVP to Adam Blake, or to Marie Yang.

LESA also sponsors events such as Law of Beer, In-House Council forums, Intellectual Property and Venture Capitalists panels, in addition to offering business cards and local wine. http://www.law.uoregon.edu/org/cle/lesa.php
