Profiles

Jennifer Gleason, Adjunct Professor, Staff Attorney, Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide

Jen has been Staff Attorney at the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide (ELAW) since 1993. She manages the Legal Assistance Program and collaborates with lawyers around the world to strengthen and enforce laws that protect the environment and human rights. Currently, Jen focuses on helping lawyers reduce climate change by promoting laws that encourage the production of electricity from renewable sources, and challenging projects that produce harmful greenhouse gases. Jen's work with ELAW has taken her to many countries in Africa, the Caribbean, Central America, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Jen is a 1993 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law with a certificate in Natural Resources Law.

Jen teaches Energy and the Law and is the Field Instructor for the ELAW Externship.
