The ENR Program pioneered the earliest academic curriculum in public interest environmental law, created the first public interest environmental law clinic in the nation and, through its students, hosts the oldest and largest public interest environmental law conference in the world. Annie Leonard, OUS Sustainability Conference Closing Keynote address, "The Story of Stuff: Sustainability and Student Leadership," 4:30-5:30pm
Annie Leonard, an activist who has spent the past 10 years traveling the globe fighting environmental threats, narrates "The Story of Stuff," a rapid-fire, often humorous and always engaging story about "all our stuff--where it comes from and where it goes when we throw it away." Following a screening of "The Story of Stuff" from 4:00-4:30, Annie will talk about ways that we can transform these systems so they promote, rather than undermine, ecological and social sustainability and how students can play a critical role in this change.
