Symposium~ Living on a Finite Earth: Energy Law and Policy for a New Era

From Portland and the North: From I-5 South, take Exit 194B onto I-105 West. Take Exit 2, keep left and follow the signs to the UO. Proceed in the left lane over the Ferry Street Bridge, exiting onto Broadway, which becomes Franklin Boulevard. Follow Franklin Boulevard to Agate Street. Turn right onto Agate and right again onto E. 13th Avenue. Proceed to the Information Kiosk to purchase a parking permit.

From Ashland and the South: From I-5 North, take Exit 192. Merge onto Franklin Boulevard. After merging, get in the left lane and follow Franklin Boulevard through two lights. (Look for a "UO Next Left" sign as you drive west on Franklin Boulevard.) At the third light, turn left onto E. 13th Avenue. Proceed two blocks to the four-way stop sign at Agate Street. Continue straight ahead to the Information Kiosk to purchase a parking permit.

Parking

Please stop at the parking kiosk on E. 13th off of Agate Street for information on where to park. Parking passes will be available, though there may be a small charge for visitor parking permits.

Lodging

There are several great lodging options within walking distance of the Knight Law Center, restaurants, and close to the interstate. Please contact me as soon as possible if you will need transportation to or from the airport or other area.

The Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast
The Secret Garden has offered us a special discount. They are located within a few blocks of the Knight Law Center, have a number of beautiful rooms, and offer breakfast, coffee and tea service. They may or may not have rooms available on the 10th but there are still a few rooms available for October 9th. The rate for Symposium speakers is $85 plus the 10% state service tax.
