Law Students for Sustainable Business
Promoting Sustainability Through Innovation and Entrepreneurship
As our consciences awaken to the realities of climate change and resource scarcity, private enterprise has found a receptive market for the technology that will help the concerned citizen be a better steward of the environment. Law Students for Sustainable Business believe not only in the promise of this burgeoning industry, but that the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of private enterprise might provide the most direct and reliable path to environmental sustainability.
Law Students for Sustainable Business seek to create a forum to discuss the role that the law can play in supporting the entrepreneurs that will change the way people interact with the environment.
Beginning this year, we plan to host a Sustainable Business Symposium where we invite distinguished speakers from industry, government and academia to share their vision for a future that is both technologically and environmentally sophisticated. Topics will include Renewable Energy Policy, Sustainable Venture Capital Investment, Carbon Taxes and the Feasibility of a Carbon Market, as well as Sustainable Development and Green Building.
We invite you to join us for meetings and discussions.
