Cases We Take
We are currently not accepting any cases as we are undergoing a restructuring and seeking long term funding.
The Oregon Innocence Project will only consider cases from Oregon in which actual innocence is claimed. Other innocence projects consider cases from other states.

The Oregon Innocence Project selects cases based on a number of factors, the most important of which is the information gathered from inmates in the initial contacts. The first step in submitting a case for the project's consideration is filling out a screening questionnaire and mailing it to OIP.
Only fully completed questionnaires will be evaluated. Send the completed questionnaire to the address below. Be sure to note your identification number and your most recent or current attorney with any contact information.
