OLSPIF's objective is to enable law student employment in the public interest and to support greater community access to legal representation.

the OLSPIF auction will be February 29, 2008 at 6:00pm at the Knight Law School.

Two major fundraising events, the Disco Inferno in the fall, and the gala OLSPIF Auction, fund our grants. This Auction will be our twelfth annual, and we hope it will be the most successful one yet.

Please consider donating items to the auction, in addition to attending and enjoying the evening. The auction draws on local businesses as well as the law school community for auction items. Past auctions have featured the work of local artists and artisans, fine wines, bicycles, vacations, and donated services. Be creative, and have fun - almost anything can be auctioned.

The Auction will feature live music, food by Cornucopia, beer by MacTarnahans, and a selection of fine wines. So come dressed to party, and ready to support OLSPIF.

We also welcome private and online donations. Click here to visit our secure online donation page.

OLSPIF's summer award program provides financial assistance to students working in public interest positions. All students enrolled at the UO Law who dedicate 10 volunteer hours to OLSPIF are eligible to receive summer awards for public interest work. There are countless opportunities to volunteer during both fall and spring semesters. The award application process takes place in the spring.
