Year-Round Events

Speakers
Throughout the year, we invite guest speakers to talk to us about current issue in animal law.

Conferences and Competitions
We encourage our members to attend conferences and competitions on animal law throughout the country and provide scholarships to help with travel expenses.

Animal Awareness
To help raise the profile of the field of animal law, SALDF sponsors events such as parties for the Humane Soceity of the United States, movie screenings, and leafleting events. We also take trips to and volunteer at local sanctuaries and humane societies.

Fundraising
To help pay for expenses, SALDF holds fundraising events such as raffles and photo competitions throughout the year. Help supplement our funds so that we can host more events!

Campaigns and Social Awareness
SALDF is dedicated to initiating positive change for animals at the University of Oregon and in the local community. SALDF participates in several activities during the year to this end, such as campaigns against puppy mills, or campaigns encouraging the University to buy only cage-free eggs.
