Incoming law students need to obtain textbooks and other course materials prior to the first class session. You may obtain books beginning Wednesday, August 15 at the William Knight Law Center Court Cafe once you know your assigned class sections. Information about course books will be available during orientation.

When purchasing books and materials from the UO Bookstore, you may choose to have those items delivered to the William W. Knight Law Center for convenient pick up. Packages of books and materials will be grouped by your cohort color, either green, yellow, or purple book bags or back packs.

It is our suggestion that any such carrying cases you choose should be sturdy and very comfortable. It is strongly recommended that you use carrying cases that can be rolled or pulled. Legal textbooks are heavy and some students have developed physical problems because the books they carry hurt their backs or shoulders.
