Alder Dune Campground Alder Dune is located 6 miles north of Florence on Highway 101, and has trails accessing sand dunes and the ocean. Reservations are accepted.

Archie Knowles Campground is located west of Eugene off of Highway 126. The campground has nine sites and is adjacent to the Knowles Creek. The campground is also convenient to the PAWN Trail, a loop trail that takes you through an old growth ecosystem. No reservations are accepted.

Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park is located 14 miles north of Florence on Highway 101, with a buffer of native plants between the campground and the highway. Washburne Park offers tent camping and yurts. There are several trails of varying difficulty leading from the campsites to the beach, wildlife viewing areas, and second-growth forests. Another trail connects to the Heceta Head trail, which leads to the historic Heceta Head Lighthouse. Reservations are accepted.

Carter Lake Campground is located 11 miles south of Florence on Highway 101, and is convenient to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and other coastal attractions. Reservations are accepted.

Clay Creek Recreation Site contains 21 tent sites, and 2 group picnic shelters. The group shelters contain central fireplaces. Other facilities include a swimming beach, changing rooms, horseshoe pits, and a playground. No reservations are accepted.

Driftwood II Campground features 68 campsites for Off Highway Vehicle enthusiasts. It is located 7 miles south of Florence on Highway 101, 1.5 miles west of milepost 198 on the Siltcoos Beach Access Road. Driftwood II Campground is convenient to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and other coastal attractions, including Honeyman State Park.

Harbor Vista Park provides tent and RV camping, and is one of the few coastal campgrounds with an ocean view. Harbor Vista is three miles north of Florence. Park facilities include a view structure, restrooms and showers, a disabled-accessible campsite, beach access, a playground, and hiking trails. Nearby attractions include the Sea Lion Caves, the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, and Heceta Head Lighthouse. Reservations are accepted.

Honeyman State Park Campground is situated halfway up the Oregon Coast three miles south of Florence. It is the second largest overnight camp in the state, with 187 tent sites and ten yurts for rent. There are two miles of sand dunes between the park and the ocean. The park also has two natural freshwater lakes. From October 1-April 30, you can access the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area directly from the H Loop of the campground. Reservations are accepted.

Lagoon Campground is located 7 miles south of Florence on Highway 101, and is convenient to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and other coastal attractions. Reservations are accepted.

Sutton Campground is located 4 miles north of Florence, and is set among shore pine, Douglas fir, spruce, waxmyrtle, and huckleberry. Trails provide access to dunes and Sutton Lake. The Holman Vista day use area and trail is one mile west. Reservations are accepted.

Tyee Campground is a small campground located 6 miles south of Florence, and is convenient to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Reservations are accepted.

Waxmyrtle Campground is located 7 miles south of Florence on Highway 101, and is convenient to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and other coastal attractions. Reservations are accepted.

Whittaker Creek Recreation Area, 50 miles west of Eugene on Highway 26, has 31 campsites, a swimming beach, a wildlife viewing area, a picnic gazebo, a playground, and boat access onto the Siuslaw River. The river contains salmon spawning grounds, and you can watch the annual runs of Chinook, coho, and steelhead salmon from the campground. No reservations are accepted.
